Located at Howard Smith Wharves, Stanley is a modern Chinese restaurant with a focus on exceptional produce, bold flavours and refined cooking.

As a CDP at Stanley, you'll play an important role in delivering consistently high-quality dishes across service.
You'll work closely with our senior chefs while developing your skills in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and cooking dishes to Stanley's high standards
Running your section efficiently during service
Maintaining exceptional food quality, presentation and consistency
Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
Ensuring food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards are maintained
Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team
Assisting with stock rotation, preparation and kitchen organisation
Helping develop junior chefs and creating a positive team environment
What we are looking for:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or experienced Commis Chef ready for the next step
A genuine passion for cooking and hospitality
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume environment




Outstanding attention to detail and pride in your work
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience with Asian or Chinese cuisine is advantageous, but not essential
