Are you an experienced Electronic Security Technician who enjoys solving problems, working independently and building strong customer relationships?
We're seeking a
Senior Security Service Technician
to join a well-established national security integrator servicing a diverse portfolio of commercial, government and critical infrastructure clients throughout Melbourne.
This is primarily a
service and maintenance role
, with occasional commissioning and system upgrades, making it ideal for someone who enjoys fault finding, customer interaction and technical problem solving rather than large-scale installation work.
The Prospect
Working from home, you'll manage your own service territory across Melbourne, attending customer sites to carry out preventative maintenance, reactive service, fault diagnosis and minor commissioning of enterprise electronic security systems.
You'll become the trusted technical contact for your customers, delivering exceptional service while ensuring systems remain operational and compliant.
This is a highly autonomous role suited to a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with clients and enjoys working independently.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain and fault-find enterprise electronic security systems.
Complete preventative maintenance across commercial and government sites.
Diagnose and rectify faults across Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Detection systems.
Carry out minor commissioning, programming changes and system upgrades.
Provide exceptional customer service while building long-term client relationships.
Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Liaise with customers,
Project Managers and internal technical teams.
Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards and company procedures.

About You
To be successful you'll ideally have:
Experience servicing commercial electronic security systems.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
Exposure to enterprise Access Control, CCTV and Alarm Systems.
Experience with minor commissioning, programming or system modifications.
Current Victorian Security Licence.
Open Cabling Registration.
Current Driver's Licence.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work autonomously and manage your own daily schedule.
