Our Client is a well-established manufacturing business supplying quality steel products to the construction and industrial sectors. They operate a busy production site with a robust focus on safety, teamwork, and career progression. This position is a permanent position offering progression and stability.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Loader with Forklift Operator you will be required 5am-1:30pm and will be responsible for the below duties:
Loading and unloading steel products from trucks using forklift
Moving materials safely throughout the yard and warehouse
Assisting with overhead crane operations where required
Conducting prestart checks on plant and equipment
Operating production machinery to bend, cut and measure materials
Picking and assembling building accessories
Replenishing raw material bays and machine stations
Operating loading PCs and RF scanners
Emptying steel scrap bins and assisting with scrap recovery
Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
What You Will Need




To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
Current Forklift Licence with practical experience
Previous production or manufacturing experience
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team/good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical / Drug and Alcohol
