Technical Lead / L4 Senior Network Engineer
Our Enterprise client is in need of a Technical Lead to support a large program to modernise their network environment and progresses towards software-defined networking, cloud adoption and Zero Trust architecture. This is an opportunity to lead critical infrastructure initiatives while expanding your expertise across cyber security, automation, SD-WAN and Azure technologies.
About the role You will provide technical leadership across enterprise network services while supporting the delivery of next-generation networking capabilities.
Key responsibilities
Lead the deployment and support of SD-WAN, network, data carriage and Wi-Fi solutions
Design, harden and optimise network infrastructure to improve performance, resilience and security
Collaborate with cyber security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and strengthen protections
Develop automation scripts, technical documentation and infrastructure standards
Mentor engineers and act as the escalation point for complex network and security issues

Must have
Robust Cisco networking experience across LAN and WAN environments
Hands-on experience with Cisco DNA Centre and enterprise networking platforms
Expertise in F5 technologies (LTM, GTM and BIG-IQ)
Experience with Cisco and/or Palo Alto firewalls
Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects and influence technical outcomes
Nice to have
SD-WAN or Software Defined Networking experience
Python or infrastructure automation skills
Terraform or Infrastructure as Code experience
Exposure to Azure cloud services
Knowledge of Infoblox, Statseeker, Cisco SDDC, VMware or Venafi
