Zuma Health is a friendly family chiropractic practice seeking a new team member interested in both personal and career development. The successful applicant will work at Support Services Employee - Level 5, functioning semi-autonomously within established policies, guidelines and procedures, with substantial accountability for work performed. You will work well either individually or in a team environment.
Key responsibilities
Meet and greet clients in a cheerful and welcoming manner
Receive payments for services and products
Control and maintain clarity around the booking schedule
Use the practice software in the clinic and continue to learn its functions
Keep accurate and accountable records of hours worked
Send letters, emails, and text messages as needed
Keep the clinic clean, presentable and ready for the next client
Perform daily financial reconciliation including EFTPOS
Identify when products need to be ordered and record accordingly
Maintain clear systems and creatively develop systems to improve administrative functions in the clinic
Maintain clear records and communication with the rest of the team
Report to the directors
About you
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and health
Basic computer knowledge and ability to use a computer on a daily basis
Administrative skills and problem-solving abilities
Well-developed communication, interpersonal and arithmetic skills
Cheerful, helpful, organised, responsible, honest, positive,
communicative and creative personality traits
Resonate with Zuma Health's Mission Statement to support clients and each other to live and manifest highest mind and body potential
Firm understanding of the vitalistic health paradigm and the healing process, and share in fundamental belief systems regarding wellness
Willing and able to educate clients and share understanding of the vitalistic chiropractic health paradigm
Able to relate to clients in an authentic, compassionate and friendly manner as the first point of contact in their healing experience, with awareness around privacy, client confidentiality and professional conduct
Bookkeeping skills and/or social media/marketing skills are a bonus
