We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established organisation based in Fremantle for an initial 6-8 week temporary assignment, with an immediate start required.
This is a hands-on, high-volume AP position suited to someone who can confidently step into a busy finance environment and hit the ground running.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable process, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.
The Role: High-volume, end-to-end invoice processing Reviewing invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals and supporting documentation Three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices and goods receipts Processing supplier payments and assisting with payment runs Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies Managing supplier queries and building solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders Investigating duplicate invoices,



incorrect coding and payment discrepancies Maintaining accurate AP records in line with company policies and procedures Assisting with month-end AP reconciliations and reporting Supporting process improvements across the finance function About You: Previous experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable position Strong end-to-end AP knowledge Experience with three-way matching, supplier reconciliations and payment runs Excellent attention to detail and the ability to investigate discrepancies Strong communication and stakeholder management skills The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience using Oracle would be advantageous, however is not essential Availability to commence at short notice and commit to the full 6-8 week assignment This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer looking for their next temporary assignment in the Fremantle area.
