Qualified Baker
to join our busy production team in
Dandenong South.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys working as part of a team, and thrives in a fast-paced bakery environment.
About the Role
As a Baker at Noisette Bakery, you will be responsible for producing a range of high quality baked products, including artisan breads, sourdough loaves, sandwich breads, and rolls. Our products are supplied to both retail and foodservice customers across Australia.
This is a permanent full-time position with morning shifts, typically commencing between 6:30am and 9:30am.
Key Responsibilities
Mixing, preparing, and shaping dough
Producing a range of artisan breads and baked goods to specification
Operating commercial mixers, deck ovens, and baking equipment
Monitoring proofing, baking, and cooling processes
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Following food safety and quality standards at all times
Working collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong technical baking skills and attention to detail
Experience using commercial baking equipment (mixers, ovens and proofers preferred)
A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team
Good time management and organisational skills
Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid work visa)
A Trade Certificate or Diploma in Baking is preferred, but not essential for candidates with relevant industry experience
Physical Requirements
This role is physically demanding and requires someone who:
Is physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods
Can safely lift and move dough crates and ingredient bags up to 25kg
