We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader Parks Maintenance to lead and support a team of operational staff in delivering the maintenance of Council parks and open spaces.
You will play a key role in fostering a safe, productive, and customer-focused team while helping to maintain high-quality public spaces for the community.
About the role
This position is responsible for the following:
Oversee the preparation and upkeep of parks to meet required standards.
Coordinate daily team operations and work routines to optimise time and resource use.
Develop work programs, including rosters and resource allocation, ensuring projects stay within budget, meet deadlines, and comply with relevant standards.
Identify and report turf issues, recommending improvements as needed.
Manage roadside vegetation to maintain visibility and safety.
Ensure traffic control plans are in place and implemented for all worksites.
Monitor project delivery to ensure alignment with designs and compliance with relevant regulations.
Plan and enforce safety measures across all worksites
Lead by example, promoting high standards, a robust work ethic, and proactive performance management
Foster a positive, motivated team culture through strong collaboration and communication.
Support continuous improvement by contributing to workplace reform, service efficiency,



and operational goals.

We are offering a remuneration between $72,492 to $83,366 annual salary + super+ allowances.
