Parramatta or other NSW DPHI office location by negotiation with flexible working arrangement supported.
Clerk Grade9/10($133,348- $146,945)
In this role, you'll play an significant part in helping communities across NSW thrive by supporting sustainable and resilient water management outcomes. Working on significant development and infrastructure projects, you'll provide expert advice that helps ensure water resources are managed responsibly while enabling communities to grow and prosper. Your work will contribute to planning decisions that balance the needs of people, places and the environment, leaving a lasting positive impact on current and future generations.

We're looking for someone who:
Is passionate about creating positive outcomes for communities through sustainable water management and evidence-based planning.
Brings experience in water management, hydrology, civil or water engineering, environmental science, geology, or a related discipline, and is motivated to apply their expertise to complex and impactful projects.
Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical information and provide practical, risk-based advice.
Communicates clearly and confidently, translating technical findings into meaningful recommendations for a diverse range of stakeholders and decision-makers.




Values collaboration and enjoys building trusted relationships with colleagues, industry, government agencies and communities to achieve better outcomes.
Thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on quality, integrity and delivery.

Essential requirements
Degree qualification in a related relevant discipline or equivalent relevant experience e.g., Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Water), Geology, Hydrology, or Applied Science.
