Registered Nurse - PACU - Full Time, Part-Time and Casual position- John James Hospital - Deakin - ACT

Full Time, Part-Time and Casual Position is available.
About You
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment and will assist the Nursing Unit Manager with the daily operational functions of the PACU.
Key Responsibilities
Holistic Patient Assessment
Developing and implementing care plans to promote patient safety
Coordinating care with Healthcare Teams
Supervising and Mentoring Junior Staff
Providing quality patient care using an evidence based approach
Able to demonstrate competence in advanced nursing practice across critical care, leadership, education, safety and communication.
What You Bring
Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Evidence of commitment to maintaining ongoing career development through the participation in education, and training activities relevant to the field of clinical practice.
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation.
Ability to work unsupervised,



proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
