Overview As a Return to Work Specialist, you will help guide people through their recovery and return to work journey following a workplace injury.
Through a personalised, empathetic, face-to-face approach, you'll work closely with injured workers, employers and treatment providers to achieve sustainable return to work and life outcomes.
The role focuses on positively influencing stakeholders, encouraging participation in the return to work process, and supporting individuals to take ownership of their recovery goals.
Join Our Upcoming Assessment Centre We're currently seeking motivated and customer-focused professionals to attend our upcoming Return to Work Specialist Assessment Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity to learn more about the role, meet our team, and explore a rewarding career supporting injured workers through their recovery and return to work journey.
How you'll make an impact Facilitate and attend face-to-face meetings with injured workers, employers, health practitioners and allied health professionals.
Educate stakeholders on return to work processes, legislative requirements and available support services.
Collaborate with vocational providers and internal stakeholders to achieve positive return to work outcomes.
Attend medical reviews and implement early intervention strategies.
Develop and monitor Work Plans (Service Plans) with stakeholders.
Maintain accurate claim documentation and participate in file reviews.
About you Previous experience in Workers Compensation and/or Claims Management (highly regarded).
Experience in Allied Health or Job Placement services (highly regarded).
Knowledge of Return to Work legislation and workers compensation frameworks (desirable).
Strong customer service, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong computer literacy is essential.
Ability to use a laptop proficiently during face-to-face meetings, including note taking and navigating multiple systems simultaneously.
Ability to manage calendars, travel schedules, virtual meetings, emails, and administrative tasks independently.
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly.
