This is an exciting chance to join a stable and growing company where you will work with a mix of modern automated machinery and well-established production equipment.
The Role
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs across a variety of FMCG production machinery.
Key Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Fitter you will perform preventative and scheduled maintenance across production and packaging equipment
The Maintenance Fitter will respond to machinery breakdowns and carry out efficient fault finding and repairs
This Maintenance Fitter will maintain and improve mechanical reliability across the site
As the Maintenance Fitter you'll work on a variety of machinery ranging from newly installed equipment to legacy production lines
The Maintenance Fitter will identify opportunities for continuous improvement and equipment upgrades
This Maintenance Fitter will ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
This Maintenance Fitter will work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
About You
Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
Previous experience working within FMCG, food, beverage, or high-speed manufacturing environments
Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Experience performing both preventative and reactive maintenance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
