Job description DFP Recruitment is seeking to engage two experienced Senior Project Officers to join a major Queensland-based organisation delivering technically complex projects across regional and remote locations.
These roles offer the opportunity to work on high-profile initiatives requiring a combination of technical assessment, project management, stakeholder engagement and field-based activities.
These roles can be based in either Brisbane or Townsville .
About the Role As a Senior Project Officer, you will contribute to the planning, assessment and delivery of projects that require strong analytical capability, sound judgement and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include: Coordinating technical assessments and investigations Project planning, scheduling and delivery Risk assessment and evaluation activities Procurement and contractor management Data analysis and reporting Stakeholder engagement and consultation Preparing briefings, reports and recommendations Supporting field-based programs and site inspections.
The successful candidates will bring with them: A degree in Geology, Science, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline Experience within mining, resources, infrastructure,
environmental or technical project environments Strong project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills Experience interpreting technical information and producing reports Well-developed communication skills A current C Class Driver Licence Flexibility to undertake occasional travel and site-based work.
