Post-award: Take responsibility for post-award processes, partnering with researchers to ensure compliance with funders' contractual terms, and working with Finance to ensure invoices are raised in a timely manner.
NHMRC relationship: Manage HRI's relationship with the NHMRC, ensuring HRI maintains its status as an administering institution and completes all required documentation and reporting.
University partnership: Work closely with the University of Sydney to ensure the smooth running of grants administered through the University on HRI's behalf.
Sector engagement: Actively engage with the sector, including organisations such as the Australian Association of Medical Research Institutes (AAMRI), to stay informed of policy developments and align HRI's grant strategies with emerging priorities.
Collaboration: Where applicable, work with the Manager, Trusts and Foundations and Strategic Partnerships to coordinate Category 3 and commercial applications and assist the Djurali team with grant identification and applications.
