The Facility Covering two facilities and other facilities as services are expanded.
With a local population of around 100,000 and drainage population of almost double this is a busy facility.




This is 260 bed major regional hospital.
Having state of the art facilities the hospital has been undergoing a number of redevelopment projects at a cost of $324 million the last of which are due to be completed later this year.
The projects have included the construction of a regional cancer centre, a new Emergency Department, Rehabilitation Unit, Maternity and Paediatrics Unit, Dialysis Unit, and a Learning and Development Centre, together with the consolidation of a number of outlying services into the main Hospital complex.
