What you'll do This role is central to Santos' social licence to operate in NSW.
Reporting to the Team Leader Community NSW, you will shape and deliver our stakeholder management, community engagement and investment strategies — supporting our broader sustainability and operational goals.
• Lead community engagement — deliver the NSW Community Engagement Plan and support the Narrabri Community Shopfront in line with all project approvals.
• Manage community investment — own the NSW Community Investment Plan and budget, aligning spend with business strategy across functions.
• Drive communications — partner with the Communications team to promote our community programs internally and externally.
• Represent Santos — engage local government, community leaders and industry groups on our behalf.




• Champion local participation — create opportunities for local and First Nations communities in our operations.
• Support ESG reporting — contribute to our corporate sustainability reporting requirements.
What you'll bring • Experience in community engagement, communications, government or external affairs • A track record of building strong stakeholder relationships and delivering in a skilled external affairs role • Advanced written and verbal communication skills • Experience coordinating cross-organisational projects • Preference for relationships with First Nations individuals and communities, and experience developing participation strategies • Preference for tertiary qualifications in communications, community, sustainability, business or a related field.
