17th August, **** Our Client is a major manufacturer and supplier building and construction materials, are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator / Production to join their team initially on a temp basis with the view for permanency.
The Role: Located in the eastern suburbs of Perth, this role will see you reporting directly to the Production Supervisor working amongst the fixed-plant machinery in the manufacturing facility.
You will be required to complete the following duties: Monitoring and operating factory machinery / equipment (Kilns and press operator) Isolating machinery in the case of process or mechanical issues Following quality control procedures Adhering to safety protocols, attending toolbox meetings Requirements: Previous machine operating experience is a must!
Must have a current driver's licence and own vehicle to get to work Ability to work on a continuous shift roster (days and nights)



Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test Forklift License - Bonus although not essential Be a permanent resident of Australia with full work rights (sorry no holiday visas) Roster Remuneration: You will be required to work on a rolling shift pattern comprising of both days nights, each shift being 12-hours made up of 7 shifts per fortnight (5 shifts week 1 / 2 shifts week 2 with R R in between days nights inc every second weekend) Hourly rate of $***** p/hr.
Should you work outside your usual shift pattern then DOUBLE TIME will apply for the whole shift!
