About the Role Roshan Supermarket is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of the store.
The successful candidate will manage staff, stock, suppliers, sales performance and customer service while ensuring the supermarket operates efficiently and complies with applicable food safety and workplace requirements.
Location: Shop 6/5–9 Clarke Street, Sunshine VIC **** Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 per annum plus Superannuation Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the supermarket Determine product ranges and maintain appropriate stock levels across groceries, dried foods, fresh produce and halal meat Coordinate purchasing and maintain relationships with suppliers Monitor product costs, retail pricing, sales performance and profit margins Oversee product displays, merchandising and seasonal promotions Recruit, roster,



train and supervise retail staff Maintain accurate stock, sales, purchasing and financial records Monitor product rotation, storage, wastage and stock availability Resolve customer enquiries and complaints and maintain high service standards Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements Oversee point-of-sale operations, cash handling and daily reconciliations Maintain the cleanliness, presentation and security of the supermarket Candidate Requirements Relevant qualification in Retail Management, Business Management or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience Minimum 1-2 years of relevant retail management experience Experience in a supermarket, grocery store or fresh food retail environment is preferred Strong knowledge of stock control, purchasing, pricing and retail merchandising Demonstrated experience managing and supervising retail staff Sound understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment Only candidates currently residing in Australia will be shortlisted.
