The Art Gallery attracts around 2.6 million visitors annually and runs Australia's largest education program with over 90,000 student and teacher visits per year.
With our expanded campus the Art Gallery has a new state-of-the-art building located next to our existing and much-loved building.
Providing us with close to double the exhibition space, the expanded Art Gallery enables us to share more art with more people and provide more family, learning and educational programming for all our audiences.

For more information about the Gallery and our future, please visit our website ******************************* the role Lead the development, design and delivery of temporary exhibitions, commissions, and collection displays, including associated publications and programs.
Develop strategies, schedules, budgets, and plans that ensure alignment and synergy with the Art Gallery's Vision and Strategic Plan.
What technical / soft skills you require
1. Appropriate tertiary qualification or relevant, equivalent professional experience.
2.
Extensive experience and proven track record in planning and managing the delivery of exhibitions, publications, programs, events, and activities within a gallery or museum environment.
3. Experience in financial reporting and collection managements systems, with the ability to apply data to support informed decision-making.
4. Well-developed leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to lead, support, and inspire a high calibre, multi-functional team.
