We are currently seeking an experienced Site / Project Coordinator to join a well-established construction subcontractor working across major data centre projects in Western Sydney .
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who enjoys being close to the action and wants to play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of a major project.
The position offers an immediate start , with the opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent for the right person .
The Role Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and wider project team, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administration and delivery requirements across the project.
Your responsibilities will include: Providing day-to-day coordination and administrative support to the Project and Site Teams Coordinating project documentation, registers and reporting Assisting with subcontractor and supplier coordination Managing RFIs, transmittals, correspondence and project records Supporting procurement, purchase orders and material deliveries Coordinating site meetings, minutes and action items Assisting with project scheduling and tracking key project milestones Coordinating timesheets, site attendance and onboarding requirements Supporting WHS, QA and compliance documentation Assisting with variations, progress claims and project cost tracking Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders Ensuring project documentation is accurate, up to date and easily accessible Providing general coordination support to keep the project moving efficiently About You We're looking for someone who is organised,
proactive and comfortable working in a busy, site-based construction environment.
You'll ideally bring: Previous experience as a Project Coordinator, Site Coordinator, Project Administrator or Site Administrator Experience working for a construction contractor or subcontractor Solid understanding of construction project processes and site administration Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and project teams Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook Experience with systems such as Procore, Aconex, HammerTech or similar will be highly regarded A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to get involved across all areas of the project Current White Card and driver's licence What's on Offer Immediate start Western Sydney location Opportunity to work with an established construction subcontractor Major project exposure Hands-on role working closely with the site and project teams Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right person Long-term career opportunities Supportive and collaborative project environment Competitive hourly rate based on experience If you're an experienced Site or Project Coordinator looking for your next opportunity within Western Sydney construction, we'd love to hear from you.
