The Opportunity Position: Registered Nurse – Grade 5 Location: Mackay, QLD Unit: Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Contract dates: 24/08/2026 – 04/10/2026 Working days: As per roster Working hours: Rotating 8,



10 and 12-hour shifts About You You will be an experienced Registered Nurse with recent Coronary Care Unit experience and a solid background in cardiac nursing.
Mandatory Experience Previous Coronary Care Unit (CCU) experience Cardiac Experience – Highly Desirable Experience with: Continuous cardiac monitoring Haemodynamic monitoring ECG interpretation Caring for STEMI and NSTEMI patients Heart failure management Temporary pacing wires Inotropes Central lines Arterial lines Pre and post cardiac catheterisation patients, including femoral sheaths Non-invasive ventilation, including CPAP/BiPAP ieMR Previous experience working in Australia, Queensland Health and/or Mackay HHS will be highly regarded.
