About the Role The Mobile Company is seeking an experienced Hardware Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain mobile phones, tablets and other electronic devices.
The successful candidate will carry out fault diagnosis, hardware repairs and quality testing while ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
Location: Sunshine Plaza Shopping Centre, ******* Horton Parade, Maroochydore QLD **** Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 per annum plus Superannuation Key Responsibilities Diagnose hardware faults in mobile phones, tablets and other supported electronic devices Assess damaged devices and determine appropriate repair methods and replacement components Repair and replace faulty components, including screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers, buttons and other internal parts Use specialised diagnostic equipment,



repair tools and software to identify and resolve hardware faults Perform functional testing and quality checks before returning repaired devices to customers Complete software installation, updates and basic troubleshooting where required to support hardware functionality Record diagnostic findings, repairs completed and replacement parts used Maintain repair tools, testing equipment and replacement component stock Explain repair findings, available repair options and expected turnaround times to customers Complete repairs in accordance with company quality standards and workplace health and safety requirements Maintain a clean, organised and safe repair workspace Candidate Requirements Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma in Electronics, Computer Hardware, Information Technology, Telecommunications or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience repairing mobile phones, tablets or comparable electronic devices Demonstrated experience diagnosing and repairing hardware faults using specialised tools and diagnostic equipment Strong knowledge of electronic components, hardware testing and fault-finding techniques Excellent attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills Robust communication and customer service abilities Ability to manage multiple repairs and meet expected turnaround times Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail repair environment Only candidates currently residing in Australia will be shortlisted How to Apply Please submit your resume outlining your relevant experience and suitability for the position.
