You'll work across a range of early learning centres throughout South East Queensland, carrying out general building maintenance, repairs, grounds upkeep and preventative maintenance. You'll have the opportunity to work independently while also being part of a small, supportive team that takes pride in delivering a high standard of service to our clients.

What You'll Be Doing
Your days will be varied and may include:
General building repairs and maintenance
Repairing and replacing locks, hinges, handles, fittings and fixtures
Patching walls,



plastering and carrying out minor painting works
Pressure washing and general cleaning of external areas
Minor carpentry and general handyman tasks
Minor plumbing maintenance, including clearing drains and repairing leaking taps
Mowing, weeding and general grounds maintenance
Inspecting doors, windows, fans, gates, fencing and other building components
Identifying potential maintenance, safety and presentation issues before they become bigger problems
Assessing issues and providing information to assist our office team with contractor quotes and escalations
Working alongside specialist contractors and other TMS team members when required
Maintaining a clean, safe and professional work environment
Completing maintenance requests within required timeframes
Providing clear updates, photos and job notes through our maintenance system
The Person We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and takes genuine pride in their work.
You'll ideally have:
3+ years' experience in general maintenance, handyman, building maintenance, property maintenance or a similar hands‐on role
Strong practical skills and confidence using hand and power tools
Experience across a variety of maintenance tasks rather than specialising in just one area
A good eye for detail and quality workmanship
The ability to identify problems and think through practical solutions
A proactive approach — you notice things that need attention rather than waiting to be told
Good communication and customer service skills
The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
The ability to work well as part of a small team
A solid commitment to workplace health and safety
Physical fitness suitable for a hands‐on role




A current manual Australian driver's licence
Hold a QLD Blue Card
A trade qualification or background in building, carpentry, property maintenance, landscaping or a related trade would be highly regarded.
