About the Role
We are looking for an organised and confident dental receptionist who also enjoys photography, video and social media content.
This is primarily a reception and client-services position, with approximately 70% of the role focused on reception, administration and case coordination, and 30% focused on social media content.
Around two to three hours most days will normally be allocated to taking photos, filming videos and creating content. Reception and client support remain the main responsibilities and may occasionally take priority during particularly busy periods.
This position is based in a dental laboratory, not a dental clinic. Most communication is with dentists and their practice teams rather than managing a patient appointment book.
The role would suit someone with dental reception, administration or customer-service experience who also enjoys creating content. This is not a marketing coordinator position, and you will not be responsible for managing the entire marketing strategy.
Reception and Client Services
Answer telephone calls and emails from dentists and practice teams
Receive, enter and coordinate cases using our laboratory management software




Communicate case information clearly with clients and laboratory team members
Organise deliveries and courier bookings
Prepare, pack and dispatch completed dental cases
Provide general reception and administrative support
Social Media and Content
Take photos and short videos of our dental work, team and laboratory
Create and publish Instagram posts, Stories and Reels
Film and edit short-form video content
Write clear and engaging captions
Help maintain a consistent content calendar
Identify interesting content opportunities within the laboratory
Organise case photos, videos and other marketing assets
Work with our team and external marketing support on content ideas
About You
You will ideally have:
Experience in dental reception, dental assisting, healthcare reception, administration or customer service
Clear and skilled telephone and email communication
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Confidence learning dental terminology and new computer systems
A genuine interest in social media, photography and short-form video
Confidence approaching team members and filming content
Some experience using Instagram, Canva, CapCut or similar programs
A reliable, helpful and collaborative attitude
The flexibility to move between reception and creative tasks
Dental experience is a strong advantage but is not essential. Training in our systems and laboratory processes will be provided.
