HSM Industries is seeking an experienced and reliable LV Fitter/Mechanic for an immediate start in Aurukun.
2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster
FIFO from Cairns

$40–$60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson looking for a stable role with a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster, competitive hourly rate and FIFO arrangements from Cairns.
The successful applicant will work independently across a variety of mechanical equipment and vehicles, with a solid focus on preventative maintenance, fault finding, servicing and repairs.

Your responsibilities will include:
Light vehicle and LV mechanical work
Small engines
Small trucks
Plant and machinery
Mechanical fault finding and diagnostics
Repairs and preventative maintenance
Servicing and general mechanical maintenance
Managing day-to-day mechanical requirements
Working safely and efficiently with a high standard of workmanship
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
A qualified LV Fitter / Mechanic
Light Vehicle Mechanic
Diesel Mechanic
Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Mobile Plant Mechanic
Fixed & Mobile Plant / Diesel Fitter
Mechanical Fitter
Small Engine Mechanic
Trade qualified with strong practical mechanical skills
Experienced working independently
Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
Confident diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
Able to work safely and efficiently
Able to maintain a high standard of workmanship
Experienced with plant and machinery (highly regarded)
Holds a current driver's licence
