About the Role
As a Graduate Medical Device Engineer, you will support the design, development and testing of medical device components and systems. You'll gain exposure to product design, prototyping, experimentation, supplier collaboration and technical documentation, while developing specialist skills in dimensional metrology, measurement systems and validation methodologies.
Key responsibilities
Support product design and development activities, including CAD modelling and engineering drawings.
Assist with engineering experiments, design verification and technical investigations.
Develop and maintain measurement systems, methods and inspection processes.
Analyse engineering and measurement data and communicate findings.
Design and document simple fixtures, jigs and testing solutions.
Create and maintain technical documentation in line with quality requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to support project delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Mechatronic or a related Engineering discipline (recently completed or nearing completion).
Strong foundation in engineering design, problem‐solving, experimentation and data analysis.
Experience using CAD software and creating or modifying engineering drawings.
Exposure to engineering projects, internships or work experience within medical devices, manufacturing or product development environments.
Familiarity with engineering drawings, GD&T; principles and verification or testing activities.
Exposure to dimensional metrology, inspection equipment, vision systems, gauges, fixtures or measurement systems.
Understanding of quality systems, design controls, verification and validation, or relevant ISO standards is advantageous.

Solid analytical and problem‐solving skills with a methodical approach to technical work.
High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate documentation and to learn new tools, systems and engineering methods quickly.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Collaborative team player who can also work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Positive attitude, adaptability and a willingness to seek guidance and continuously develop technical capability.
