Part-time Accounts and Administration Manager role with20+ hours per week, with opportunity to grow the role.

About the role:
We are looking for an independent and proactive
Accounts and Administration Manager
who is organised, has great attention to detail, takes initiative and is self-motivated.
This role is perfect for someone with experience in operations and finance, who enjoys creating and implementing new processes and staying organised. Someone who gets excited about the construction industry and who wants to work directly alongside the founder to improve the business's efficiencies.

This role is an equal split between administrative tasks and accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
General office admin support of day-to-day operations
Managing the business owner's calendar
Managing the administration email inbox and triaging emails accordingly
Processing weekly payroll for team (up to 5 staff)
Tracking all costs against project
Following up outstanding accounts
Maintaining accurate financial records
Project management - managing construction administration across multiple residential projects
Coordination of subcontractors and trades - including confirming site access, following up on documentation
Basic project reporting

Organised -Managing multiple moving parts and stakeholders
Confident-You're confident in communicating with all stakeholders and not afraid to follow up with people on late invoices and quotes.
Skills & Experience:
3-5 years bookkeeping experience (construction experience highly regarded)
Basic understanding of Australian accounting practices
Experience with accounting software (Xero or similar)
Experience with BuildXact is preferable, or similar construction management software
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Phone + laptop will be supplied for the role.
This role will be mostly remote, with the requirement for a weekly in-person catch-up with the owner (for an hour or 2).
This role allows the candidate to set their own flexible schedule, and would be ideal for someone working school hours.
Hourly rate between $45 - $55, pending experience - including super/ GST if payable.
