Consultant Haematologist | Tertiary Referral Centre | Northern Territory The Opportunity We are working closely with the principal tertiary referral hospital in the Northern Territory and are keen to connect with FRACP Haematologists interested in a full-time role offering complexity, scale and meaningful regional impact.
The service supports both malignant and non-malignant haematology across a vast geographic catchment, including remote and culturally diverse communities.
The role includes inpatient consults, outpatient clinics and chemotherapy supervision within a multidisciplinary cancer framework.
This chance will appeal to Haematologists seeking clinical breadth, autonomy and exposure to a diverse and often complex case mix.
The Hospital This is the major tertiary referral hospital for the Northern Territory, delivering comprehensive secondary and tertiary services.
The Haematology service includes: • Inpatient malignant and benign haematology • Dedicated chemotherapy and oncology services • Bone marrow biopsy capability • Integrated pathology and transfusion services • 24/7 ICU on site • Multidisciplinary cancer care collaboration Referral pathways are established with interstate tertiary centres for stem cell transplantation and highly specialised therapies.
