Job Description Contract Metallurgists - Plant Metallurgist and Senior Metallurgist Roles We are recruiting for various site Metallurgists roles around Australia and overseas with a variety of rosters, location and commodities.
FIFO / DIDO and residential opportunities.
Experience is essential.
Contract duration varies from 3-6 months with immediate starts.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Overseeing day-to-day metallurgical operations on the plant Implementing metallurgical test work results and optimisation strategies Troubleshooting process issues and ensuring consistent recoveries Maintaining key process documentation and reporting Supporting the Metallurgy team in developing long-term metallurgical strategies Committing to health, safety, and environmental standards across all activities Qualifications Requirements: Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline Proficiency with metallurgical software and tools (e.g. Excel, metallurgical accounting systems) Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within the mining industry Demonstrated expertise in mineral processing and extractive metallurgy, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
