Part-Time (0.6FTE), fixed term, Paternity Leave position - ending June 11th ****.
Base salary + salary packaging + super + 5 weeks annual leave

About the Mental Health Division
The division provides care and services through a comprehensive range of teams, to meet the needs of mental health consumers and carers throughout Victoria. All services work within a clinical framework that promotes recovery-oriented practice and supported decision making.
About Primary Mental Health Team (PMHT)
PMHT provides one-off comprehensive mental health assessments to consumers aged 18+years (with low acute risks), and recommendations to the consumer and treating team. PMHT primary role is to support primary providers in their ongoing support of the consumer. This role also includes an opportunity for brief individual counselling and family work.
A regular day will see:
Triaging referrals received from local GP's
Providing a comprehensive mental health assessment
Report writing that outlines treatment and support options for the ongoing treatment team on behalf of the consumers.
Community engagement with local mental health providers, psychosocial support services and GPs
About you
You will be someone with excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, who takes a highly compassionate approach to their work.
You will bring with you:
Minimum of five years professional experience as a Psychologist Grade 2 (or equivalent)




Psychologists must be registered with a specialist endorsement in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or Forensic Psychology, or working towards
A current Victorian Driver's License and ability to drive a work vehicle
