Are you eager to make a difference in the renewable energy sector? GC Vivablast is seeking experienced Blade Technicians to join our skilled team. In this role, you'll be essential in repairing Blade Damages at McIntyre Wind Farm, located near Warwick QLD.

Responsibilities
Uphold the highest safety and environmental standards while meeting service targets.
Coordinate and execute blade-related tasks such as inspections, repairs, and replacements.
Ensure the smooth operation of turbines and effective use of systems for condition monitoring and remote control.
Execute all tasks related to blade maintenance processes to meet service level agreements and minimise service costs.
Foster and maintain professional relationships with all project and service site teams.
Accurately report the status of blade defects and collaborate with the Blades Engineering team to assess the complexity of repairs.
Manage territory orders effectively to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
Perform external wind turbine blade repairs, including major structural procedures such as tip replacements, and address internal and external cracks in the trailing edge (TE) and leading edge (LE), LE erosion, LE ultra, lightning strike repairs, retrofits, and blade balancing (internal and external).
Conduct blade inspections using various methods.
Qualifications
GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) certification
IRATA Rope Access Training (minimum Level 1)
Platform Operating Training certification
Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) Confined Space Entry & Rescue certification
Process-oriented work ethic
High adaptability to changing environments
Strong interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of blade materials, repair methods, and manufacturing processes
Proficient in reading technical blade drawings and specifications
Willingness to travel for extended periods, often to remote locations
Ability to work at heights and in extreme conditions
Strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and quality
Note: Immediate start available. Camp accommodation/meals provided.
