Exciting opportunity to be a Project Officer on the Prevention Research Support Program Grant Round 7. Maternity and the First **** days (CIA Professor Dharmintra Pasupathy)
Base Salary starting from $117,133 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
We are seeking a Research and Project Officer to lead research projects, optimise grant management processes and support the delivery of impactful research outcomes for the Prevention Research Support Program Grant Round 7. Maternity and the First **** days (CIA with Professor Dharmintra Pasupathy). The role involves coordinating research methodologies, managing data processes, strengthening stakeholder partnerships, and ensuring effective administration, compliance and dissemination of research activities.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
lead and optimise research projects, ensuring methodologies are refined and research objectives are achieved
oversee the lifecycle of grant applications, from development through to reporting, ensuring effective funding outcomes
provide advice on research direction, methodologies and compliance requirements
coordinate data management processes, including analysis and reporting to support research insights
strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance research collaborations and initiatives
streamline administrative processes supporting research documentation, publications and compliance requirements
manage stakeholder communications, ensuring concerns are addressed effectively while fostering trust and collaboration, this include providing secretariat support for key program meetings including stakeholder engagement
facilitate timely report submissions, maintain data integrity within university systems and support compliance initiatives
coordinate purchasing processes and resolve discrepancies in payment schedules
champion a proactive approach to health and safety, review work area protocols and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain consistent safety standards
undertake other duties appropriate within the classification level as required.
About you
bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
experience coordinating and managing grant application processes
experience conducting scientific literature searches and supporting research administration
experience working in a research-intensive environment and the higher education sector
experience managing,
reporting and disseminating research data including reporting on financial data in conjunction with our business partners in Finance
experience in people management, including managing staff performance and development
strong skills in data analysis, analytical and problem solving, critical thinking and decision making
strong planning, organisation, communication, teamwork and collaboration skills with experience using research software.
