Sheet Metal Workers / Fabricators
to join a leading Australian manufacturing business based in
Western Suburbs, Brisbane
.
These are
full-time casual positions paying $58/hr + super
, with the opportunity to
transition into permanent employment after 6 months
for the right candidates.
You'll be joining a busy, modern manufacturing facility producing high-quality stainless steel and sheet metal products for commercial and industrial applications.
The Role Working within the fabrication and production team, your duties will include:
Sheet metal fabrication and assembly
Working predominantly with
stainless steel and light-gauge metals
MIG and TIG welding where required
Cutting, folding, forming and finishing sheet metal components




Reading and interpreting workshop and engineering drawings
Operating fabrication machinery, hand tools and power tools
Measuring and marking materials accurately
Completing quality checks on finished products
Maintaining a clean and safe workshop
Working to production schedules and quality standards
About You To be successful, you will ideally have:
Previous experience as a
Sheet Metal Worker, Fabricator or similar
Strong sheet metal fabrication experience
Experience working with
stainless steel
MIG and/or TIG welding experience
Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
Confident use of fabrication equipment, hand tools and power tools
Strong measuring and attention-to-detail skills
Ability to work effectively within a production environment
Trade qualification in Sheet Metal/Fabrication highly regarded
Forklift Licence (LF) advantageous
