Complete Staff Solutions – Nambucca Heads NSW
We are currently looking for experienced Kitchenhands / Servery staff to work within the main kitchen and serving areas of an Aged Care facility located in Nambucca Heads.
These are casual on going positions for 6-8weeks. There are both morning shifts 8am to 2pm and afternoon shifts 4pm to 8pm available.
The kitchen environments are very busy so you must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Duties:
Greeting residents and offering them beverages, tea, coffee and cold beverages.
Taking their food orders from the menu and serving accordingly.
Follow dietary sheets to serve residents the correct meal consistency.
Preparing meal trays and delivering to the residents rooms.
Assisting with basic, general food preparation and making sandwiches.
Heating food to the appropriate levels before serving.
Recording temperatures of food, fridge, freezers and dishwasher accurately.




Labelling food and storing appropriately.
Cleaning and maintaining a tidy kitchen.
Set up / pack away dining areas.
Wash and dry all dishes, polish cutlery and store correctly.
Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
To be successful:
At least 6 months experience working within a kitchen is required.
You will be confident to work on your own at times.
You must be able to provide two recent work referees.
Hold a current police clearance or be willing to obtain one before commencing work.
Have recieved the **** Influenza vaccination (Flu Shot)
Hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
