POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
Junior Accountant – Perfect for recent graduates or those with 1-2 years of experience looking to build their skills.
Intermediate Accountant – Ideal for accountants with 3-5 years of experience who are ready to take on more responsibility.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As part of our accounting team,



you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality financial services to our clients. Depending on your experience level, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, from preparing financial statements to providing strategic and tax planning advice. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your skills and expertise will be valued and developed.
We offer flexible work arrangements and a chance to progress within the company while working on a wide portfolio of clients with a mix of tax & business service clients.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare financial statements, tax returns and tax plans for a wide range of individual and business clients
Prepare Business Activity Statements and periodic operational reviews
Liaising with the ATO
Prepare additional statutory reporting requirements, including payroll tax and WorkCover
The creation and implementation of business cash flow, tax planning, forecasting and other various value-add reporting material
Mentoring cadets and trainees
Direct access to a partner at the firm
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Business services and taxation experience
Sound knowledge of accounting, financial and business principles and procedures
Completed or studying towards a Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent or currently studying towards or recently attained CA/CPA qualifications
Organisation and time management skills
Strong teamwork skills, with experience working towards team goals and KPIs
Proficiency in MYOB, Xero & Quickbooks accounting software would be beneficial.
