Join The Salvation Army as an Operations Support Worker and play a hands-on role in creating a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for people working towards positive change.
What You'll Do
Provide practical, person-centred and trauma-informed support.
Build positive relationships that encourage independence and self-determination.
Respond to immediate needs and escal
Support day-to-day operations including transport, cleaning, gardening and administration.
Maintain accurate client records and contribute to case reviews and team meetings.
Work collaboratively to identify service improvements and achieve better outcomes for participants.
Help create a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for everyone.
What You'll Bring
Compassionate, respectful and genuinely committed to supporting others.
Experienced in community services, homelessness or a related field — or brings equivalent skills and experience.
Confident working with people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
Able to apply strengths-based, trauma-informed and culturally inclusive approaches.
A robust communicator who works well as part of a team.
Practical, reliable and willing to get involved wherever support is needed.
Essential Requirements
Working with Children/Vulnerable People Check
First Aid & CPR Certificate
Valid Driver Licence
