AGA is currently seeking an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join a well-established and growing hydraulic repair business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hydraulic knowledge who is looking for a hands-on role with the potential to grow into a Leading Hand position.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
About the Role
You will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, testing and servicing of a wide range of hydraulic equipment. The role is primarily workshop-based, with occasional in office work required.
Key Responsibilities
Resealing and testing hydraulic cylinders
Servicing and repairing hydraulic jacks
Repairing and testing foot pumps and hand pumps
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on a variety of hydraulic equipment
Performing occasional on-site hydraulic testing and tagging
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Maintaining accurate service and repair records
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Hydraulic Fitter or similar mechanical role
Strong hydraulic knowledge and fault-finding skills
Experience repairing hydraulic cylinders, pumps and related equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
A proactive and reliable work ethic
