About the role
Mater Hospital Brisbane
is seeking a compassionate and skilled
Registered Nurse
to join our
Day Infusion Unit
in this
permanent, part-time
opportunity
working 19hrs per week (0.5 FTE)
based at
South Brisbane.
This is a rewarding, patient-facing opportunity to work within a specialised infusion service, where you will play a key role in coordinating care, delivering treatments, and supporting patients through their treatment journey in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
Salary range: $***** - $***** per hour
plus superannuation
and

What you'll be doing
In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care while supporting the safe and efficient operation of the Infusion Unit, including:
Coordinating patient flow and completing comprehensive nursing assessments
Administering infusions and monitoring patient responses to treatment
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and scheduling information
Using effective clinical problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills
Collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
About you
You are a dedicated Registered Nurse who enjoys working in a patient-focused,
outpatient environment and values teamwork, quality care, and transparent communication. You will bring:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
A minimum of two years' full-time equivalent clinical experience
Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, patient-facing role
Robust communication skills and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care
Competence in intravenous and peripheral access and administering infusions
Confidence using electronic clinical systems and maintaining accurate documentation
