Carnation Canteen in Fitzroy is seeking a Sous Chef to work with the Head Chef, guiding day-to-day kitchen operations and shaping our evolving, weekly-changing menu. You will supervise food prep, run the pass, and uphold standards, systems and cleanliness in a small kitchen.
You'll own par levels, ordering and wastage control, contribute to food cost management, and train the rest of the kitchen team while writing recipes for current dishes.
