Adams Towing is seeking an experienced and professional
Tow Truck Driver
to join our team on a
full-time basis

West Gosford NSW ****
, this role is integral to our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of damaged vehicles to our repair facilities and customer locations. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be the face of our company on the road, responsible for providing exceptional service whilst maintaining the highest safety and professional standards. This position plays a crucial role in delivering customer satisfaction and supporting the smooth operation of our smash repair business.
What you'll be doing
Operating tow trucks safely and efficiently to transport damaged, impounded or broken down vehicles
Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the tow truck and equipment are in optimal working condition
Securing vehicles properly using appropriate towing techniques and equipment to prevent damage during transport
Responding promptly to Accident and breakdown calls from customers and partner organisations
Navigating traffic and various road conditions whilst maintaining a high standard of driving safety and adhering to all traffic regulations
Communicating effectively with customers, providing updates on collection times and professional assistance
Maintaining accurate records of towing jobs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and job details
Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of the tow truck to keep it in excellent condition
Following all health and safety procedures and company policies at all times
Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles when required, using correct manual handling techniques
Alternative roster with weekends and 2 nights p/w on call.




What we're looking for
Current and valid
Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence (HR)
or equivalent, with a clean driving record
Current Tow Truck Certificate
Current Police Check
Proven experience operating tow trucks in a professional capacity
Strong knowledge of vehicle securing techniques and towing equipment operation
Excellent driving skills with the ability to operate large vehicles safely in all road and weather conditions
A professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues
Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to meet tight schedules and respond to urgent callouts
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and securing vehicles
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
A commitment to health and safety practices and compliance with road transport regulations
Familiarity with the West Gosford region and surrounding areas is advantageous
