Working closely with accountants and clients, you will be responsible for supporting clients' success through bookkeeping and compliance activities.
Key responsibilities
Reconciling GST accounts and other balance sheet accounts
Ensure Payroll, STP and Super Guarantee meet compliance requirements
Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
Maintaining accurate client records using Xero
Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
Liaising directly with clients to provide bookkeeping and guidance
Identifying and resolving bookkeeping discrepancies and compliance issues
About you
Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accounting firm or public practice setting
Strong working knowledge of Xero
Experience with payroll, GST and BAS preparation
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary of $55,000 - $70,000 plus superannuation (depending on experience)
