Are you an experienced veterinary nurse who wants to develop an advanced cardiology skillset?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated veterinary nurse to join our specialist veterinary cardiology hospital in Brisbane.
This is not a conventional veterinary nursing role.
We are a state-of-the-art specialist cardiology hospital, performing interventional procedures and surgeries that are not performed anywhere else in Australia. Our team works at the forefront of veterinary cardiac medicine and surgery. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of something genuinely unique.
Veterinary cardiology is a highly specialised field. You won't be doing a little bit of everything — instead, you will have the chance to develop extraordinary depth of knowledge and expertise in one fascinating area of veterinary medicine.
You will develop specialist nursing skills in areas including:
Cardiac emergent and critical care patients
Advanced cardiac diagnostics and imaging
Anaesthesia and monitoring of complex cardiac patients
Interventional cardiology procedures and cardiac surgery




Management of patients with complex cardiovascular disease
Nurse consultations with owners and their pets for ongoing management of cardiac disease
We are looking for an outstanding veterinary nurse who can bring to the team
a passion for nursing and genuinely wants to keep learning
excellent technical and clinical nursing skills
the enthusiasm to thrive in a fast-paced and highly specialised environment
excellent attention to detail
a calm, organised and capable demeanour when challenges arise
pride in providing an exceptionally high standard of patient care

leadership potential and the willingness to step into a Head Nurse role when required
