Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel within rural and regional communities to support service delivery on weekends and weekdays. A current Australian driver's license is essential. You will have access to fleet vehicle for all transportion shifts.
Pay details-Salary packaging:
$***** - $***** + casual loading, 12% superannuation & salary packaging up to $15,900 per year.

About the Role:
The FCKC Youth Worker plays a vital role in supporting safe, predictable environments for young people who have experienced trauma. Working within a therapeutic framework, the Youth Worker will:
Supervise and Support Family Time:
Safely transport children and young people and supervise visits with parents, family, and kin, ensuring interactions are secure, positive,



and child‐focused.
Ensure Safety and Wellbeing:
Prioritise the physical and psychological safety of young people through trauma-informed responses to their needs and behaviours.
Provide Individualised Support:
Assist young people to engage in routines, education, appointments and recreational activities in a positive and inclusive manner.
Promote Healing and Resilience:
Support emotional regulation, life skill development, and healthy relationships using trauma-informed approaches.
Advocate and Report Responsibly:
Complete shift notes, incident reports, and mandatory notifications in line with legal and organisational requirements.
Work Within Therapeutic Frameworks:
Uphold Anglicare's Code of Conduct and apply the Sanctuary Model principles to support safety, connection, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
As a FCKC Youth Worker, you will:

What you will bring:
Hold a Certificate IV in Youth Work, Community Services (or equivalent), or Diploma of Community Services (or equivalent)
Hold a current Drivers Licence, WWCC, and Senior First Aid Certification.
Demonstrated practical experience working with children/young people and/or their families within a community services, youth, out-of-home care or related servicesetting.
Sound working knowledgeof NSW Child Protection legislation and the NSW Child Safe Standards, relevant to Permanent Care.
Applied understandingof child and adolescent development, including the impacts of trauma, abuse and neglect on emotional, behavioural and relational functioning, and the ability to respond using trauma informed approaches in routine and complex situations.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, taking direction while also exercising initiative, professional judgment and accountability.
Ability to travel within rural and regional communities to support service delivery.
A current Australian driver's license is essential.
