We are looking for a
Junior Office Administrator
to join our friendly team in a full-time position based at our Coopers Plains office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in administration.
No previous office administration experience is required
, as we are looking for the right person who we can train and develop into a confident and capable office administrator.
You will work closely with our administration team, technicians and managers while learning how a busy electrical and plumbing service business operates.
Full training will be provided on our systems and software, including Simpro and Xero.

About You
We're looking for someone with a positive attitude who genuinely wants to learn and build a career in administration.
To be successful in this role, you will be:

Able to take clear and accurate messages
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
Reliable and willing to learn
Comfortable asking questions and taking direction
Confident learning new software and systems

Comfortable with basic calculations, including GST
Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and email
Happy to contribute ideas and be part of a team
Previous work experience is not essential. Experience from a casual role in retail, hospitality, takeaway or another customer service environment would be well regarded.
What You'll Learn and Do
Your responsibilities will include:
Answering and making phone calls and taking explicit messages
Providing friendly and professional customer service
Entering customer information and job details
Learning to enter and schedule jobs using Simpro
Assisting with customer and supplier invoices
Learning to process payments and enter information using Xero
Liaising with customers, suppliers, technicians and managers
Managing incoming emails
Filing, scanning and maintaining electronic records
Providing administrative support across different areas of the business
Assisting the team with general office duties
As your skills and confidence develop, you'll be given the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities.
Full-time position
Based at our Coopers Plains office
Monday to Friday
Office hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm
Free onsite parking
Pay and conditions in accordance with the applicable Clerks Award classification
