About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Safety & Training Administrator to join our team at the Appin Project. This is an exciting prospect to play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of health, safety, training, and administrative functions within a dynamic mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate site training, assessments, inductions and external training requirements.
Maintain accurate training records, competency matrices, and compliance reporting.
Manage employee medical and screening requirements.
Support compliance with Safety Management Systems, statutory regulations, and workplace risk management processes.
Coordinate workplace inspections, task observations, incident investigations, and reporting activities.
Assist with injury management, rehabilitation, site administration, and provide support to Project Managers, Superintendents, and the wider site team.




About You:
Previous experience in site administration, ideally within a mining, construction, or industrial environment.
Exposure to Safety Management Systems and an understanding of workplace compliance requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Advanced computer skills, particularly across the Oracle, Microsoft Office Suite, with strong attention to detail and record management capabilities.
Proven ability to problem solve, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
