to join a busy temperature-controlled warehousing and distribution facility based in
Hemmant, QLD

Applicants must be available for the full assignment period

About the Role
Working within a busy temperature-controlled warehouse environment, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, updating computer systems, and supporting the wider warehouse and inventory team.
The role also requires you to
regularly operate High Reach forklifts
to locate, move and manage stock throughout the facility.
This is a hands-on position combining
inventory administration, stock control and forklift operation
.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting regular
cycle counts
throughout the warehouse
Comparing physical stock levels against system records
Identifying and recording inventory discrepancies
Investigating missing stock and inventory variances
Updating inventory information within computer systems
Locating and moving stock using
High Reach forklifts
Operating warehouse material handling equipment safely
Maintaining accurate and organised inventory records
Assisting with stock investigations and adjustments
Supporting the warehouse and inventory team with general administration
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
Current LF Forklift Licence – ESSENTIAL
Previous High Reach forklift experience – ESSENTIAL
Previous experience in
inventory control, stock control, cycle counting, warehouse administration or similar
Confident using computers and inventory management systems
Strong data entry and administrative skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong problem-solving and investigation skills
Ability to identify and resolve stock discrepancies
Comfortable working within a
temperature-controlled warehouse environment
Reliable and punctual work ethic
Ability to commit to the
full assignment through to 14 October ****
Full Australian working rights
