Lincoln Road Dental, a well-established three-chair dental practice in Essendon, is looking for a dedicated Practice Manager/Receptionist to join our friendly team.
About the Role
This is a full-time position working 4 days per week – Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. You'll play a key role in the smooth running of our practice, supporting both the clinical team and our valued patients.
Your Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day practice operations and reception duties
Overseeing compliance with infection control protocols and practice accreditation standards
Providing outstanding front desk service and patient care
Scheduling appointments and coordinating with clinicians
Managing payments, recalls, and patient records
Supporting and motivating staff to ensure a positive, professional environment
Problem-solving and maintaining a high level of organisation and attention to detail
About You
Previous experience in a dental practice is essential,
this is not a transferable-skills role
Working knowledge of infection control standards and their application in a clinical setting
An understanding of how a dental practice operates day to day, from scheduling and recalls through to compliance and staff coordination
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
A warm, professional manner with patients and colleagues
Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
Experience in marketing or social media is looked upon favourably
Australian work rights are required for this position
This role also suits a dental assistant looking to move into practice management.
