You'll be responsible for installing ground support and completing cable bolting activities to support underground development and production, working alongside a highly experienced mining crew in a fast-paced underground environment.
What's on Offer
$80 – $85 per hour
2/2 roster rotating days and nights
FIFO to Cobar - Camp accommodation & meals provided
Superannuation paid on ALL hours worked
Key Responsibilities
Operate cable bolting equipment in accordance with safety and site standards
Install ground support systems following geotechnical plans
Conduct pre-starts, inspections and basic maintenance checks
Work collaboratively with development, production and geotechnical teams
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting requirements
Follow all safety procedures and site protocols
Contribute to a positive and proactive team culture
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Proven experience operating a
Sandvik DS421-C Cable bolter (essential)
Previous experience as a Cable bolt Operator in underground hard-rock mining
A strong safety focus and the ability to work to strict ground support standards
The ability to work on a rotating 2/2 days and nights roster
A current driver's licence and relevant underground mining competencies
Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude
