We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team and operate forklifts in the docks area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of forklift operations
Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, including loading and unloading of materials and products
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while operating forklifts and working in the docks area
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or issues
Assist with general warehouse duties when not operating the forklift
Qualifications
Possession of a valid Australian Forklift Licence
Minimum of 8 months experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or dock workplace
Ability to provide a recent Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
Experience with rotating tynes is advantageous but not required
Commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace
Strong attention to safety and ability to follow guidelines and procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
