This is a fantastic opportunity for senior SAP HR specialists with strong S/4HANA functional expertise to contribute to a large-scale, business-critical transformation in a secure and highly complex environment.The successful Senior SAP Software Engineers will be offered an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options, based in the ACT and working primarily onsite, with flexible arrangements considered in line with organisational policy.The successful Senior SAP Software Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:Providing functional expertise across SAP HR and Payroll modules during an ECC6 to S/4HANA conversionAnalysing existing SAP HR / Payroll configurations and assessing compatibility with S/4HANA architectureSupporting functional remediation and testing activities including system integration testing,



payroll parallel runs and user acceptance testingConfiguring and optimising SAP HR / Payroll modules to meet business processes and legislative requirementsWorking closely with technical teams to remediate custom objects impacting HR and payroll functionalityCollaborating with HR, payroll and business stakeholders across a shared services environmentAssisting with documentation of functional specifications, configuration designs and business process impactsSupporting data migration, validation and cutover activities during go-liveContributing to knowledge sharing, mentoring and uplift of internal SAP capabilityThe successful Senior SAP Software Engineers will have experience in:SAP S/4HANA HR / Payroll functional expertise, including configurationEnd-to-end payroll processing, employee lifecycle management and organisational management in SAPSupporting ECC6 to S/4HANA conversions or major SAP transformation programsAustralian payroll legislation and public sector employment frameworksWorking within shared services or multi-entity HR environments (highly desirable)Communicating complex system changes clearly to business users and senior stakeholdersThis is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract on a high-profile ERP transformation program, offering rewarding hourly rates and exposure to large-scale SAP S/4HANA delivery.
